Our Farm Stand
Fresh produce, grown with love
Welcome to our farm stand!
We specialize in heirloom veggies and rustic cut flowers that are started from seed in our Deep Winter Greenhouse long before the temperatures of the NEK begin to warm. After the threat of frost has passed, we transplant our seedlings into our raised beds, utilizing companion planting methods.
We are currently building out our farm stand, but stay tuned for its opening! Once open, we will harvest the ripest, freshest produce and flowers to stock our farm stand. Check out below to learn more about our stand and to see what’s growing

Just swing on by our farm stand to say hi and see what’s good for yourself!
FAQs
-
We are currently closed for the season. We are busy behind the scenes growing seedlings in our greenhouse and building out the stand.
When the summer season avails and the produce is abundant, our stand will be open from 10am-5pm Monday- Friday. Occasionally & if the need presents itself, we will open the stand on weekends.
If the flag is out, the stand is open!
Please note: we do lock up the stand at the end of the day and have video surveillance.

Our farm stand is located just beyond the farmhouse at:
1475 Route 102 Guildhall, VT
Look for the roadside sign and pull on in. There is room for 2-3 cars at the stand itself. If those spots are full, please feel free to pull off alongside our pasture on the other side of the road from the stand.
Please note that this is our family home. While visitors are not permitted to come through the gate into the gardens, the cattle pasture, or the property surrounding our home, if you see us out working, please be sure to say hello! We love to connect with and get to know our community!
You are welcome to take a load off and sit in the Adirondack chairs at the stand, breathing in the fresh Green Mountain air and soaking in our epic view of the White Mountains and our highland cattle.
-
Our stand is a self-serve honor system. We accept venmo (details are outlined at the stand) or cash in the locked cash box.
We ask that you write down what you have purchased and factor in the sales tax on the payment log and be sure that your payment goes through completely before leaving the farm.
-
We stock the stand as frequently as we can with the freshest produce and flowers.
That being said, mason jar flower arrangements will be put out on Tuesdays and Fridays as the flowers come into bloom.
-
Yes! We often leave out a little something so that you can bring a piece of Root to Rise home with you.
This might be a seedling, some fresh stems, or maybe even a baked goodie from Lizzie’s kitchen (if you’re extra lucky!). It will be clearly marked that it is free for your enjoyment.
Please be a thoughtful community member and take just one!
-
We have reusable canvas bags, vinyl stickers, farm/ NEK greeting cards, and other local goodies as we can source them.
In the future, we hope to sell Lizzie’s sourdough goods and Vermont maple syrup from our family’s local sugar bush.
-
Yes! We can and will be growing cold weather crops (broccoli, lettuce, kale, leafy greens, cauliflower) throughout the deep winter in very small supply.
Please reach out via our contact page to inquire about a winter farmshare.
